Volunteer
At Arpana School, we require volunteers who are willing to spend some quality time with the students. A volunteer could teach them dance, music, painting, computer or any academic subject.
We also require volunteers to manage our tasks in an organized manner. A volunteer can use his/ her knowledge to continuously train our staff and teachers to carry out all management processes systematically.

Allow us to host a stall on your premises:
You could help us by providing us a stall to display and sell our products made by the students of the school. Some of the products that we make sell include greeting cards, files, stationery items, bags, tailoring products, sweets, and snacks. Our children will be exposed to the world of creating, marketing and selling.
Direct Donations :
You can directly donate any amount you wish to. These donations will help us in the education of our children. We will use these funds to help work on our vocational training unit and therapy equipment. It will also help us provide students with better resources. Donations can be made for various aspects of the child’s learning. We accept donations for:
Mobility Devices Hearing Aids:
Children at Arpana School suffer from severe speech and hearing impairment. They require hearing aids and we would appreciate donations for such aids. The cost of hearing aids is Rs. 200/- per device.
Education Support:
As most of our students come from lower and lower-middle-class families, you can help sponsor their education. Sponsoring their education will include counseling, rehabilitation, intervention, academics, and life skills development. To educate a child, it costs Rs. 500/- per month per child.
Meals:
Arpana School provides all its students with nutritious mid-day meals. This encourages more parents to send their children to school as their children will be fed clean and healthy food every day. Donating Rs. 300/- will help us feed a child for a month.
Rehabilitation and Therapy:
Children with a disability to work on their functional and occupational skills need therapy. We counsel such students and help make them more confident to live in this world. To contribute to their therapy intervention, you can donate Rs. 400/- per child.
Training:
From age 15 to 19, students are provided with vocational training. Many skills such as tailoring, greeting card making, screen printing, file making, paper bag making, envelope making, and catering are taught to them. The cost to train these children in various skills is Rs. 600/-
Transport:
Students of Arpana School for Special Needs come from underprivileged sectors. We realize parents do not send their wards to school as they will incur additional transportation expenses. We want to help these children and provide free transportation so more families are encouraged to send their kids to school. To help these students travel to school, you can donate Rs. 700/- per month per child.
Medical care:
Students of our school suffer from epilepsy and other illnesses. They require regular medication. We provide these children with the medicines they need to keep going. To aid a child’s medical care, you can donate Rs. 300/- per month per child.
Children’s field education/ outing:
Once a year, we take our children on an educational or recreational trip. This helps them experience the world outside and also learn. Donations for children’s outings is one time. You can donate Rs. 30,000/- per child if you wish to send them on an outing.
