Introduction
Arpana School for Special Education is a non-profit, non-governmental institution established in 1981 by the Central Diocese of Karnataka. The school focuses on children with intellectual disabilities. We equip our children with ample practical skills so that they can be reintegrated into society and lead a life of integrity and a contributing member of the family and community.
We know that our endeavors will bear fruit by making effective use of the tools and opportunities available to our society. We are working for this by enlisting the support of churches, institutions, private firms/ companies, welfare organizations, individual families, and other social aid organizations.

Along with this, the school also offers training in basic skills which form the foundation of learning other skills, such as sitting tolerance and attention span. Many other programs like home management are implemented for students. Parents and caretakers can take part in training programs conducted by Arpana School for Special Education. This training helps parents and caretakers aid their children and work on their motor, sensory and cognitive development.

Early Intervention
[2 - 6 years]:

Special Education
[6 - 15 years]:
The Institution shall identify and provide effective interventions to correct early developmental difficulties in children and shall help to overcome the delay in accomplishment and milestones in growth and functional academia.
Vocational Training
[15 - 19 years]:
The Institution shall identify and provide effective interventions to correct early developmental difficulties in children and shall help to overcome the delay in accomplishment and milestones in growth and functional academia.
Job Placement
[19 - 20 years]:
